Category tree
Section titled “Category tree”Build a hierarchical catalogue taxonomy (label, code, optional parent). A system Uncategorized sentinel exists for products without a mapped category. The All root is also a system default.
Plan limit: non-system categories only (All and Uncategorized do not count). Free: 4 fixed. Paid: data sources × 60 (including add-ons).
Supplier mappings
Section titled “Supplier mappings”On Supplier Mappings, map raw supplier category strings to a catalogue category.
Products still import if a category is unmapped; they use the sentinel until you map them.
Category sets
Section titled “Category sets”Destination-specific category ID sets exist in the pipeline for some advanced cases, but there is no tenant UI for category sets today. Do not expect a “Category Sets” screen — map your internal tree here, and use export field mappings / platform defaults for store categories as needed.
