Guard rules

Guard rules on an export profile stop individual products from being exported when they fail safety checks. Blocked products keep their last successful store values.
Configurable in the UI
Section titled “Configurable in the UI”| Guard | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Minimum sell price | Block if calculated sell price is below this amount |
| Minimum margin % | Block if (sell − cost) / sell × 100 is below the threshold |
| Allow zero-price products | Off by default — zero / empty sell prices are blocked |
Built-in engine defaults
Section titled “Built-in engine defaults”The export engine also applies additional safety defaults (for example blocking certain zero-stock price updates). Those are not exposed as toggles in the tenant UI today.
Monitoring
Section titled “Monitoring”Run History shows how many products were blocked. Investigate by checking pricing rules, supplier cost spikes, or mapping mistakes, then re-run.
Example
Section titled “Example”You hold a promotional sell price with a formula that can go below cost when the supplier raises wholesale price. Set Minimum margin % to 5 so those rows are blocked instead of publishing a loss-making price.
